The Government of Nepal, Ministry of Urban Development, Kathmandu Valley Development Authority published the notice regarding unauthorized structures built on public lands, government lands, and Ailani lands. Kathmandu Upatyaka Sukumbasi Area Notice. The Kathmandu Valley Development Authority was established in accordance with Section 3 of the Kathmandu Valley Development Authority Act, 2045 to set the basic standards for planned physical development in the valley with the aim of managing the Kathmandu Valley through the reconstruction, development and expansion of the cities of the valley.
Kathmandu Valley Development Authority has the authority to regulate, control and prohibit the implementation of all standards. This notice has been published to inform this authority to vacate the unauthorized structures built by encroaching on public lands such as Government, Parti, Ailani etc. within Kathmandu Valley within 35 days.
If it is not removed, the authorities will also inform about the costs incurred in removing or demolishing the encroached structures and collecting them from the concerned person or organization.
