Nepal Warehousing Company Ltd is established under the Company Act, 2063 of Nepal to cater to the warehousing needs of the farmers, traders, millers and businessmen who deal in trade of grains for their commercial and industrial purposes. These actors more often face post-harvest losses, degraded quality of the product for further use and most frequently face problems of keeping grains in healthy environment for long time period.

Job Vacancy Position Details:

HEAD OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Role Overview: The main purpose of this role is to lead on all matters concerning Finance /Banking/ Insurance/Cost Accounting and Administration that are in line with statutory regulations and the company’s Vision, Mission and Objectives.

The Head of Finance and Administration will be based at NWCL’s head office in Parsagadhi, Birgunj, with frequent travel to project units in Aurabani, Sunsari, and Birpur, Kapilvastu.

Accounts

1. Develop and Direct the detailed Finance Strategic Planning of the company’s and ensure all business units timely execute the plan within the scope and budget, while minimizing Financial Loss & Risks.
2. Conduct Financial analysis of individual units on monthly basis.
3. Preparation and submission of weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports to the CEO and Board of Directors.
4. Review Economic Trends, Analyze Department Budgets, Monitor Cash Flow, Address Internal Conflict if any and advise the management in a timely manner.
5. Ensure completion of statutory requirements related to Finance and Accounts.
6. Liaison with internal auditor, statutory auditor, financial consultant and company secretary.

Banking

1. Foster banking relationship with banking Partners. Communicate to ensure maintaining a seamless banking relationship.
2. Monitor and minimize banking costs, interest, and penalties.
3. Review bank Limit and limit utilization to ensure fund utilization.
4. Preparation of feasibility & other documents as per the requirement of banks..
5. Interest rate, base rate mapping and coordinate with banks in regarding reduction of interest cost through best utilization of fund.
6. Negotiation with banks, Rastriya bank, line ministries regarding realization of subsidized interest loan. Liaison with government institution, local authorities, labor office for all admin related work.
7. Daily cash Flow report of all the companies and projection of cash flow.
8. Maintain record keeping.

Insurance

1. Overall responsibility of insurance/contract/renewal/claims.
2. Foster Relationship with insurance companies/agencies.
   Others
3. Income tax assessments and audits.
4. Ensure streamlining and monitoring of creditor management process.
5. All works related to HR and Administration.
   Skills
